Abstract

This study aims to reflect on child protection within the scope of early childhood education in the light of intersectionality with a view to contributing to inclusive educational strategies. This production is the result of professional experience as a teacher who has been seeking to deepen her studies through continued training at master's level. The methodology that underlies this text is a theoretical-practical reflection, supported by the theory of intersectionality and analyzed considering the social markers that are revealed in the concrete context of the school environment. As a result of this study, we point to social lack of protection because of Brazilian sociability, marked by profound inequalities and considering age group, social condition, territory of life, color, race and gender, this lack of protection intensifies. Such factors then demand a closer look at certain groups in their conditions for the purpose of consolidating protection and development strategies in the school environment that welcomes children.
