CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM AO PACIENTE VITIMA DE INFARTO AGUDO DO MIOCÁRDIO: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Abstract
In Brazil, Acute Myocardial Infarction is the third leading cause of death, being characterized by chest pain, due to the reduction of blood flow in the coronary arteries, thus hampering the oxygenation of this cardiac muscle. The objective of this research was to describe the assistance of nurses to patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction. It is an integrative literature review, as it is a method that aims to synthesize results obtained in research in a systematic, orderly and comprehensive manner, the inclusion criteria of the articles were adopted according to the research objectives, between the years of 2012 to 2022, being held at MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF. However, the nursing professional must be aware of changes in the care provided to patients affected by acute myocardial infarction, so that they can offer quality care, helping to minimize the aggravation of the pathology, reducing hospital stay and offering a better quality of life to the patient
