A COMUNICAÇÃO TERAPÊUTICA EM ENFERMAGEM – REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA DA LITERATURA

Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the evidence available in the literature capable of supporting the benefits of therapeutic communication in health care and nursing. Method: The following databases were included: VHL Regional Portal (Virtual Health Library), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Google Scholar (Google Scholar), and seven articles were selected for analysis. Results: Based on the thematic findings addressed by the selected articles, the themes were categorized into four groups, namely: (a) Therapeutic communication applied to Nursing undergraduates; (b) Therapeutic communication of nurses working in mental health; (c) Therapeutic communication of nurses in the family health strategy; (d) Therapeutic communication in the professional practice of nurses. Final Considerations: From the analysis of the articles, it was possible to verify that therapeutic communication is the tool to effect therapeutic relationships, as well as assist in the provision of health care, in interpersonal relationships and promote quality of life for users. This reinforces the need for therapeutic communication in professional practice, although the literature does not describe how to do it, in addition to the fact that there are few national and international publications on the subject.
