MANIFESTAÇÕES NEUROLÓGICAS NA COVID-19

Abstract
This exploratory and descriptive study aimed to verify the neurological disorders most frequently cited in the literature resulting from the COVID-19 virus. To carry out this study, a literature review was carried out in the Scientific Electronic Library (Scielo), Literature databases. Latin – American and Caribbean (Lilacs), National Library of Medicine (PubMed) and Physiotherapy Evidence Database (Pedro) from 2019 onwards. Through the present literature review, it was possible to conclude that neurological manifestations are manifested more frequently in critically ill and elderly patients, predominantly those related to the central nervous system, due to the fact that the coronavirus is neurotropic and can infect neurons and glial cells.
